How to get to the Hameau
Whether you're coming from the north or south on the A9, or from Millau on the A75: here are the quickest, most direct routes to the Hameau de l'Étoile.
- ATTENTION RECENT CHANGES: Coming from the north on the A9 freeway - Follow the A709 towards Montpellier (be careful not to miss this exit, otherwise you'll go straight to Sète) - After the toll booth, take exit 28 towards Vendargues (D613) - After 1km, follow the D65 towards Castries- Alès - Then, at the second traffic circle, take the RD68 towards Ganges as far as Saint-Martin-de-Londres. This départementale, also known as "le LIEN", is fairly recent and not always mentioned on your GPS, but it's the most direct..
- From the south on the A9 freeway: Exit at Agde, Pézenas, then pass Pézenas and follow the signs for Montpellier for a few kilometers. Then turn left towards Gignac, Aniane and St-Martin de Londres (D32).
- From Millau on the A75, after Lodève follow Montpellier (A750) then at Gignac leave the dual carriageway towards Aniane / Viols le Fort / St-Martin de Londres (D32).
- In St-Martin de Londres, drive through the village and about 300 meters after the main square at the fountain, turn left opposite the restaurant "l'accent du Sud" (ex restaurant les Muscardins or Le Coin perdu), direction Causse de la Selle - Frouzet, D122. After 5 km, you'll see a stone wall and a sign on your right indicating "Le Hameau de l'Étoile" just before you reach Frouzet: you're there!
- From the airport, take the LIEN that you can pick up in Vendargues: D68 then D986 to St Martin de Londres.
Come to Montpellier by bus: https://flixbus.fr/ . From Paris Bercy, direct overnight trips to Montpellier for less than 40 euros, in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus. Wifi and electrical outlets on board. Many destinations to/from Montpellier les Sabines le 608 (streetcar stop) to discover on their website. Then contact cab Florent 06 69 34 03 03.
Take the local bus from Montpellier to Saint-Martin-de-Londres. Take bus 108 from streetcar station line 1-Occitanie. Allow between 20mn and 35mn depending on traffic and timetables. Once stopped Saint-Martin-de-Londres pharmacy/centreThere's still 4km to go to reach the hamlet of L'étoile (on the road to Causse de la Selle) ... the stop sign works very well.
Montpellier / Frégorgues airports: Between 5 and 10 flights per day to Paris - 1h20 flight time Montpellier also has direct flights to Nantes, Brussels, Rennes, Lyon, Frankfurt, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Madrid, Amsterdam For frequencies and schedules: https://montpellier.aeroport.fr. At the airport, you can either rent a car (see below) , or take a taxi. cab Florent 06 69 34 03 03 or take the shuttle bus to Montpellier.
Timetable and fares for the Airport / Montpellier shuttle Line 120 https://montpellier.aeroport.fr. Once in Montpellier, take tramway line 1 to the "Occitanie" stop, then take the bus (line 608, formerly 108) to Ganges (see below).

Get off at Montpellier station and contact.
Remember to book your cab before you get there. From there you can take Cab Florent 06 69 34 03 03 (from €59 to €91 per vehicle for up to 7 people). Think about organizing with your group to carpool to the hamlet - it's so practical, friendly and smart. If you don't know your group yet, your group leader will probably be able to help you with this, so don't hesitate to ask.
